Five for January 17th:
Dreamscapes. Lisa told me that she had a dream last night where I left her for an eighth-grader, who then became an 8-year old, who then became a baby bird.
Jane brain. She blows me away on a daily basis. Ask her “where’s your kitchen?” and she runs to her kitchen. Ask her to stomp, she stomps. Ask her to jump, she tries to jump. Ask her what a horse says, she says “neigh”. She’s basically a genius.
Creature comforts. There’s a private break room at work that no one ever uses, which is equipped with a couch, old-ass TV (which may not actually function), and wifi. Needless to say, I’m in there at least once a day drinking peppermint tea and watching skate videos. Sometimes you've got to get away.
Cool stuff. High-fashion Friday, MST3K on Netflix, Knife Fight RFT article, sticker job, Rogue repair scheduled, good popcorn.
Weekend action. Full one coming up. Sleepy Kitty record release at Off Broadway tonight, breakfast plans tomorrow at Southwest Diner, Anna and Allison’s baby shower, and a road trip to DeSoto to see Nate, Rebecca and crew on Sunday. Skateboarding and whatever else interspersed.
