Five for May 9th:
Garden yield. There’s not much planted in our garden yet, but last night we had a salad of spinach and baby Swiss chard, all grown from seed in our backyard. Getting the rest planted hopefully this weekend.
Nature’s helicopters. Those little helicopter leaves fell onto our yard (and neighborhood) by the thousands recently. They're everywhere, and Jane can’t get enough of them. Spent about ten minutes this morning throwing them for her amusement, and she still hadn’t had enough.
Frida’s Deli. Had lunch with Lisa yesterday, my first time to Frida’s and definitely not my last. Superb veggie fare and amazing drinks, plus it’s owned by an old friend. Didn’t hurt that it was amazing outside and we had a great patio seat. A+.
Cool stuff. Zelda’s Temple of Time recreated, donuts at work, Gevalia K-Cups, new issue of Transworld Skateboarding, arctic grape gum, new iPhone power cords.
Weekend. Dinner with Lisa and Jane followed by an old friend’s birthday party tonight, Annie’s graduation tomorrow, Mother’s Day on Sunday, possibly hitting the toy show and throwing in some skating somewhere in there, JB if the weather holds up and Ramp Riders if not.
