september sixth

Five for September 6th:

Static Age. Proof that all the Misfits ever needed to be a good live band was a decent drummer who could keep their tempos in check and a couple of basic instrument tuners. And Danzig.

Weekend highlights. Japanese festival at the Botanical Gardens with the Fairs, last trip to the pool for the summer, backyard party at Seth and Lindsey’s, dinner and drinks at Bottleworks, Webster Groves and Deer Creek DIY skate sessions, Courtesy Diner and Clifton Park with the kids.

Ten days away. Closing in on the final year of my thirties. How the hell did that happen? The good news is that Jane has promised a Batman/Superman cake to celebrate the occasion.

Cool stuff. GT Bleeding Kansas video, new dining room table ordered, Hopper Whitman autumn ale, dialing in the drums, iPhone photo dump, mornings with George, 2017 Haro Lineage Sport and Master sneak peek, Friday Night Lights revisited.

Phyllis Schlafly. The witch is dead. At least she got one thing right.
